A lot of people don't want to go to them because they think it's stupid but really- they do help. They are trained professionals to help you with your problems.

Forget what everyone else in the town thinks; only you know what you're feeling (even if you don't understand it), 1 in 4 people have mental illness at some point in their life, many leading to suicidal thoughts btw, so it's none of their buisness and they should mind their own tbh :) Sure they're all lovely ppl, but still.

Sorry to hear you're feeling like this :( But remember you won't always! You'll get that focus and motivation back, i promise :) God you sound just like me a few months ago seriously, all my old entries are about my mental state and friend issues, school etc.

Hope you get better from this, as i'm sure you will, distract yourself from these thoughts, you don't have to put up with them!

Don't listen to some immature boy. The whole point of being yourself is finding the right person to match who you are. Yeah, there are always things everyone can work on to better themselves as human beings. I am sure he has a lot of imperfections people have pointed out to him in his life too. Everyone is always so busy judging others that they fail to take a good long look in the mirror. Don't be in a rush to change just because of what one person tells you. Try to be true to who you are and if you want to change do it for you...it isn't like this guy is someone you need to answer to anyways...

You will change when your ready...funny there comes a point in all those peoples lives where they lost allot of weight but there had to be that point in their life that really mattered.  Else they lost and gained it all back again.

Believe me you will know and then all will be so easy.  Dont let others put you down for who you are....respect yourself and others will respect you.  Listen to those that put you down and remember those are the ones who have empty lives and are trying to keep you down with them, cause that is all they have...

some on here can be mean, but those are the ones who are just attention getters....the ones who are true MDD will help you get through this point.

We're all lucky that we have it very easy these days. Look back into the 30's and 40's. They didn't have cell phones and fings that will make their lives easier. It makes me feel so guilty that our lives are so much easier than their life back then. We should be happy. Technology is making it so much easier to live. And you wonder why when city folk comes out to the country and they don't like it, because they don't have all the necessities to make them happy enough as it was at home in the city.

Hey, i'm sorry you have been put in such hard situation throughout your life, because no-one deserves to live like this. It must take a lot just to put up with it. But don't you think even people you consider 'spoiled brats' have problems? No i'm not taalking 'OMG I BROKE A NAIL?' type problems, i mean problems. It is a bit selfosh just to think that you are the only who has experienced REAL hardship, because any sort of hardship is real, even if it is smaller than the problems you might have. I totally respect what you have been through however, but would like you to respect the fact your not the only one with problems, saying that practicaly is acting like a brat. But i'm not saying that i don't feel for you, because it does sound hard , the lifestyle you lead. I hope things cheer up soon, and i hope your mum gets better because your right... It's really inspiring what you've went through, and I'm glad that you got out of it all alright. But I can't agree entirely with this entry. Especially when you said that you can't stand the spoiled brats that don't have it hard. It kind of sounds like you're saying you only like people who have had a difficult life with eating disorders, depression, family problems, money problems, and such. It's a sort of ridiculous thing to say because just because YOU had it hard, doesn't mean everyone else has to have it hard to be good people too. I know an amazing girl and she does charities to help people in need, and she does volunteer hours at different places to help people. But she herself isn't in need of help. She has a big home and caring parents. Her mom usually does the cooking and cleaning, of course she sometimes helps. Does this make her a 'spoiled brat'? That because she has it good, she's a 'spoiled brat' that good care less about everyone around her? That's a silly accusation because even though she has it good, she realizes others DON'T and she works hard to help them. Just because a person hasn't gone through hardships in their life, doesn't mean they can't take care of themselves or that everyone does everything for them. For example, there might be a millionaire family who have a daughter who has it all. Friends, clothes, food, loving parents, and other little unimportant things. This doesn't automatically make her some spoiled brat who acts better than everyone else and who can't take care of herself without someone always there to do everything for her. Also, you say you feel BAD for people that haven't experienced hardships?! You should be happy for them! You should know how hard it was for you, why would you want anyone ELSE to experience that? If I went through everything that you did I would certainly wish for no one to go through that, especially kids. That's ridiculous. All in all this entry is inspiring, but the last three sentences really ticked me off. I don't mean for this comment to offend you in ANY way, I'm sorry if I came off as a bitch or really . . . ehh, harsh, I just wanted to let you know my opinion. I hope you never have to experience it all again, just please don't blame and hate people that haven't had it as hard as you have. Take care. :]

Well...about your old friend first. I think that you really should call her. It doesn't seem like she really did anything to you, so you really shouldn't be mad. And you say that she hasn't called you in over a month...but have you called her? I think you should call her back, because you really do need to talk to someone and just rant. About your roommates. Well the thing is, with girls they usually get really cliquey. Your the new girl, and if i understand right, they were already friends. You should reach out to them more to make them realize that your really great and that they should include you more. A good idea would be to get them all a small but meaningful gift that is like an inside joke, or just something really sweet. Or you could suggest a bonding-fest where you all just rent stupid movies, make popcorn, and just laugh about them. Its just little things that can get them to change their whole attitude towards you, so try your best to do them =] Good luck.

i know those mornings, when you wake up, and wonder...'what is the point of life, what is its purpose? and then there is those mornings where you get up, and theres everything to look forward to. i would just like to say to you that people who tease you, or make fun of you, are just trying to make themselves feel better! theres this song which i love and i think you should listen to its called 'ugly'-by the sugerbabes. now dont be fooled by its name it really is a great song with alot of meaning. i would just like to say to you, keep your head up high, love every day (even the tough ones) because you never know what the future holds. one day you will find someone special, and look back on these tough times and think, wow hasn't my life changed. but dont dwell on the bad things happening to you, but rather look at all of the good things in life, and focus more on those.

You can do anything you want if you put your mind to it. That's how i cut down on my smoking. I started out allowing my self 1 per hour, I'm up to one every two hours, sometimes I slip and smoke more than that, like for instance I'm going through a little stress right now from being divorced, not really from the divorce, but from the events preceding it(no It's not my fault before anybody asks)I found out fairly painful truths about why she's really divorcing me. Sorry, didn't mean to get started on that. Good luck.

Sorry your having a rough senior year! The first part is drama...the 2nd part is college apps and stressing over scholarships and the final part of it is just saying bye to everyone and getting worried about college but then happy cuz ur graduating!
